Adam Yellow Bird DeArmon
Adam Yellow Bird DeArmon
From an early age, Adam Yellow Bird DeArmon was blessed to spend time with respected Indigenous Elders in South Dakota. Those formative relationships instilled in him a deep reverence for ceremony, service, humility, and the sacredness of life. More than twenty-eight years ago, he began pouring sweat lodges and has since devoted his life to the respectful preservation and sharing of Indigenous and ancestral wisdom traditions. Throughout North, Central, and South America, he has walked alongside Elders, spiritual leaders, traditional healers, and wisdom keepers, cultivating relationships grounded in respect, reciprocity, and service.
A lifelong bridge builder, Adam is devoted to fostering meaningful connections between cultures, generations, communities, and the natural world. He believes that healing begins through relationship—with Creator, with one another, with our ancestors, and with the living Earth.
As Founder of the International Center for Spiritual & Ancestral Wisdom (ICSAW), Adam created a welcoming place where people of all backgrounds can gather to learn, experience ceremony, and deepen their connection with timeless wisdom traditions. His work is rooted in humility, cultural respect, Earth stewardship, and the understanding that ancient teachings remain profoundly relevant in today's world.
Through ICSAW's monthly offerings, Adam invites participants into a year-long journey of learning, ceremony, and community. Each gathering provides an opportunity to explore sacred teachings, cultivate authentic relationships, and discover practical ways to embody these timeless principles in everyday life.
Whether you are taking your first steps on this path or continuing a lifelong journey, you are warmly welcomed into a community dedicated to honoring our ancestors, empowering the present, and inspiring the future.
